College of Engineering, Amravati at the young age of 20 years in 1967. He completed his M. Tech. from VRCE (now VNIT, Nagpur) with top ranking in 1970 and completed his Ph.D. in Solid State Devices in 1998.
He worked in m/s Crompton Greaves Ltd, Mumbai as Chief Design Engineer in Research & Development of Large Electrical Machine division and trained in a reputed company in United Kingdom. He was a consulting engineer in Mumbai for Electronics Engineering Industries.  Later he joined Vidarbha Youth Welfare Socity, Amravti’s  Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research (Fmrly College of Engineering, Badnera), Amravati as Prof. & HOD of Dept of Electronics & Telecommunication and later occupied Principal’s chair. Now he is Professor Emeritus in the same institute. He worked as an approved Principal of Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune for 3 yrs. He was deputed as a key member of the first Information Technology Committee, Govt. of Maharashtra in 1999 and submitted the report on emerging scenario in information Technology education sector.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), Fellow of Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), and Founder Chairman, IETE Amravati Local Center, Life Member of  ISTE, Life member of Association of Indian Earthquake Technology, Life member of Association of Physics Teachers, Life Member of Rock Art Society of India (RASI). He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management (IIM, Ahemadabad) & National Institute for Training Industrial Engineers (NITIE, Mumbai). He has been associated with Pune and SGB Amravati University in various committees in different capacities including the chairman, BOS. He is an approved research guide for Ph.D. in SGB Amravati University, Shivaji University Kolhapur, and Bharati Vidyapith Pune. He has number of students pursuing research studies and numbers of research students have been awarded Ph.D. His paper on power system protection was awarded the best paper prize by Institute of Engineers (India). He has to his credit more than 40 papers in International and national journals, conferences.
His passion for research has been inspired by great scientists, engineers and teachers. Right from his school days where he developed simple innovative products working in his home made laboratory. The same passion he has still been pursuing in the laboratory set up in his house. He developed more than forty novel products in electronics and power electronics for small scale industries in Mumbai during his consultancy. He developed first Crompton Ceiling Fan and was associated in the development of  D.C. Machines, Synchronous and Induction machines from fractional Horse Power up to 8000 Killowatts for various industrial applications. Apart from industrial applications he developed ingenious scientific electronic equipments to record Shadow Band, which were successfully used during total solar eclipses in 1995 at Neem ka Thana and has published scientific papers on the same.
One of the most important life missions has been to identify problems in life and to find out solutions through research and experimentation to make public life comfortable. In pursuance of this mission he has patented  20 new innovations in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil including domestic appliances including one international patent and another 3 patents are in the process of  filing.
His still another unique and outstanding contribution in the research area has been the DISCOVERY of Paleolithic Cave Paintings in Tapti Valley in 2006 where more than thirty rock shelter painting sites have been discovered dating back from 15000 BC to 2000 BC named as Ambadevi Rock Art by his group. This happens to be another vast region in central India having ancient paintingsand  to have been inhabited by the early settlers in central India. This site is presumably better than famous site Bhimbetka of rock art near Bhopal (India) and now claimed by ASI to be the largest and oldest site. He has published number of papers in international congress under auspices of Rock Art Society of India (RASI) on the same. His work has been recognized by competent and renowned journals like PURAKALA, Bradshaw Foundation, Australia and referred to in PURATATVA published by Archeological Survey of India Journal.
He was recently felicitated by eminent scientist Dr. Mashelkar for his innovations & discoveries. He has been awarded by Institute of Electronics & Telecomm. Engineers (IETE), New Delhi for his outstanding research contribution in Electronics & Telecommunication field.
He is a green promoter and taken number of expeditions to forest. He is a keen bird watcher, nature lover and reported quite a few new species of winter birds visiting Amravati region. On such experiences he has written and published a book ARANYAGARBH in Marathi and been awarded by Kirloskar Vasundhara Mitra. He has been associated with Nature Conservation Society since last 25 years. He is one of the authors of a book on Multi-Valued Logic which is under publication by foreign publisher.
His areas of interest are AC & DC machines, power system protection, power electronics, consumer electronics, Ternary Logic and electronic devices. Presently he is contributing to areas such as ADC, DAC, Speech Recognition, Electronic Circuit Design, Ternary Logic, Electronic Devices, Fiber Optics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Internal Combustion Engines, Theoretical Physics and Genetics.
Presently he has been developing a Science & Art centre under the name GREEN CIRCLE to provide interacting platform to intelligentia and school children. He  believes:
